Working! MyArtsPad.com
  The Concept
POV (Point of View)

I wanted MyArtsPad.com to look somewhat like the software programs that I utilize to create the images, graphics, icons,...etc that I've designed and will continue to design for MyArtsPad.com. Software programs such as PaintShop Pro, Photoshop, Corel Draw, but of course with a much different look, and will be including HTML web editor symbols as well as they are part of the game, and lastly, giving that feeling that I am at work with the missing brush, but with the present pencil in the header of the web site as will be seen throughout the web site.

HEADER (In 3 Parts)

Main Page

The main pages' left and right hand margins differ than the throughut-the-site-look as of course... it's where the sites' content begins, however, offers that scrolling look as to say....there's more to come, or that I am at work. The bowing look is that the tool is proceeding from its spool as I commence in working on an image, or that the site is being utilized.

Throughout Web Site

The right and left hand side (The Ruler Side throughout) I've also given a tape-measure type feel proceeding from its spool as though I am spooling/scrolling along as I work on a particular image (that Bowable style/look).

Task Bar

Of Course I needed this menu as it is pertaining to the administration of the MyArtsPad.com web site, and the full navigation of the entire web site. All up front, and easy to navigate.

The Plan

I did not plan this design, all I knew is I wanted it to look graphic. I wanted MyArtsPad.com created by my own hands as to say to create from scratch within a software program, and not click and select a "prefab" image type design to design further from there. Yup, right from the very beginning is where I like to start.

In Closing

I am pleased with how Myartspad.com has turned out in its first design and as my first graphic arts web site. And, I am one who likes to set the sails and see where my ship will go. It's who I am, certainly not text-book smart.... but a doer... I guess is what they would say, and I have a lot to learn. Thank you for your visit and support. John.
